The Book of Genome

and published the book
that charts every single piece
of the twisted little ladder
that makes us
us.
They struggle for analogy:
a roadmap? a cookbook?
I say, a novel,
written from just four letters,
A, T, G, C,
combined in intricate lattice
to form words, sentences,
paragraphs, pages,
chaptersÂ…
character development
minutely detailed,
flaws and all;
the plot, our collective history;
the climax,
