as you wish

by Michele Schottelkorb

"as you wish"
he said
as he fell towards the rabbit hole
"please don't go"
she begged
as she fell after him

tumble tumble tumble
giggling as they fell
clutching one another's hearts
with hopes of love eternal

hark... a dove flew past a raven
and a spark was begotten
the kaleidoscope of Life granted
one wish for the Princess and the Knight

as you wish
as you wish
as you wish

Author's Note: i love alice and wonderland and the princess bride... so they helped inspire me, along with my Love (who has been my muse the last few months), to write this poem...

your words slow fused and pack a wallop when sparked. and boom this registers in my soul.
