Life Is Beautiful

by Melissa Arel

Two kindred spirits interlocked by predestined fate
Made perfect in the perfection of poetic remembrances
As solace seizes the moon and its harboring glory

The angels have harkened their ears and wings to the beauty
Of our friendship, blessed by the heavens, the clouds weep
With awe and wonderment as we speak mutually of GodÂ’s faithfulness

Sanctuary is found within our breasts, shadowed between
The heart and soul where dreams rest in their ethereal magic
For our lives have touched and been touched by one another

Our words have woven a tapestry of the stars, and so creation
Has turned its eyes to observe two poets, coalesced by chance
And embraced by faith, believing all the more in pure affinity

Life is beautiful and so is our benevolence, which grows more
With every passing hour as our salvations collectively join in
Harmony while consonance draws unto us with hope.

i like this, because it's not how most people look at the world. once in a while it's best to see the beauty in things. good writing.
