A Silent Seduction

by Trisha De Gracia

A gaze
from eyes gone dark
emotions stirring
lusting for opportunity.
a wisp of hair
falls across her face,
across the room
a young man's waiting
watching...
she averts her stare
bites her lip
and adjusts her top.
her face is flush
he sees
she knows
she doesn't care.
Another glance
just to see-
to her surprise
his eyes still follow,
his gaze is grasped
like an iron grip
at the end of a fuse
thats fiercely burning
to its end.
does she dare to try
to beat the devil?
Eyes lock
A slow, feminine smile
spreads across her
parted lips
A soft
silent
siren's
Seduction.

Detached and seamless. Nicely done.

I still remember the first time I read this one; shortly after you posted it actually. I still revisit it from time to time...and it makes me grin in all its rawness. you always seem to capture the moments ppl seem to overlook.
