Miraculous and Mundane by Charlie Morgan Miraculous and Mundane
No burning bush,
just a flock of birds overhead
whose dazzling song wraps me in feathers.
And suddenly floats me in nonexistence,
half the buddha's path to existence.
A gentle, subtle awakening of specialness
comes with their song of tribute
and I hear, I feel.
They sing to me because I'm me;
a salute to my humanness.
And I know He has sent them.
