How Gay

Remember what that word's supposed to say
Happy's the meaning behind the word
So using it as an insult is quite absurd
"So they say you're gay" he cackles
"Yes I am" she says
"You like girls?" he says, sounding baffled
"Sure I do, but I'm happy, you shithead"
Lots of pride for who they are
Lots of spirit for what they be
Makes you step back and connect the dots
