I Think About You... Way too Much!

lingering inside my head
stirring up my dreams
and resurecting memories.
I am amazed
at the simplest things
that bring your living ghost
bolting back to me.
I often wonder
if anyone ever notices
the smile that sneaks across my face
when you are "here"...
or if they ever see me
wipe away a solitary tear.
Even though I take pleasure
in permitting you
to invade my occasional thought...
I sometimes wonder
if you intend to take up permanent
