a goodnight lyric
by Andrew S Adamssleep well whenever you may rest-
may the night provide you with no test.
when you may wake, watch the sun arise
and wipe the tired out of your eyes-
may you find peace and no screams,
and only the most pleasent of dreams.
memories of childhood
should fill your head
and the happiest of times
shall be with you in your mind.
whatever the night will bring
i'll give you a song to sing
you to sleep,
and i will always hope to keep
you in my arms and heart
and this bed of ours is
a wonderful start.
