Good Morning

by Charles E Minshall

The alarm clock peals
It's Big Ben sound,
My body jumps and
I out of bed bound.

The coffee pots
Snuffling and gargling away,
Good morning to all
It's another great day.

LOL! Now that is waking up wide! Optimistic and "eager to go" attitude expressed. Deborah Lenning very recently posted a poem with a very similar theme! Maybe Spring is encouraging extra energy!!!

I'm not much of a morning person, but this poem makes me want to be :) Nice job Charlie! ~Mel~

I love that snuffling and gargling sound myself! Means the coffee is ready! Good one.

LOL! And some days are greater than others...especially Fridays!

A very positive and cheerful look at the beginning of each new day. It might take me until after I've had the coffee to feel this way though!
