Burns by Derek GregorySoul screams.
Brain burns.
Anguish pounds places
I never expected.
Hate fills every little void
created by the chipping away at my sanity.
Solace and refuge never comes
only my head filled by
more chipping and grinding.
03/20/2003 Author's Note: I wrote this while standing what the navy calls a fire watch, the person watchs a welder and if the ship catches on fire you put the little fire out. My ship was in the shipyards and industrial work was being done all around me.
