and so, it begins. by Andrew S Adamsand so, it begins.
the beginning of the end-
explosions in the south burbs.
the first echoes from the blast-
but definitely not the last to be heard.
what is it, this animosity
how can this peace be so elusive-
how can this country be so intrusive
how can we send ours to die
with the whole world asking why?
there are no true motives or drives
just propaganda and government lies.
there were no illegal bombs we could find
so that train of thought was left behind-
now, it's all about saddam
(but fuck the supposed a-bombs)
support the young troops fighting his war
do they ever question what the hell they're
fighting for?
i support them with my whole heart- they go
so i dont have to.
but why do even they have to go?
have we really thought this through? 03/19/2003 Posted on 03/20/2003 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams
