the eyes of the civilians.
you cant see what they see-
so you dont have to feel what they feel-
your TV will filter it for content.
you hear the stories-
think that this could NEVER
happen to you.
safety, shrouded in secrecy.
Bliss, Hidden behind the veil
of propogated "we-wont-fail" chants.
you cant hear the screams
underneath the exploding bombs-
they hide the terror
so you may rest
peace of mind in tact.
