Little pieces of myself

by Sam Roberts

I want to break myself up into little pieces
and each piece I will give to him,

They should remind him of what we had
and the pieces he loses he will want to find again,
Until he has them long enough, to touch,
Until he's broken me up enough,
into the little me that I am,

Until we fall again,
Break again,
Until we finally reappear again,

He muttered when I died inside "I will never love you as much as you love me, the little you that you are."

I agree with Jenny. So many go through it. Yet I feel that they all get through it. :) You have great work.

there is a great honesty and purity in these words.
