I Hate The Way You Love Me

by Jersey D Gibson

I hate it when you smile at me
with all those wonderful smiles.
I hate when you give me kisses
when I haven't held you in a while.
I hate the gifts that you give me
when they come from the heart.
I hate the looks you give me
when you say we'll never part.
I hate your teasing massaging hands
and your smooth pleasing tongue too.
All these reasons why you shouldn't be with me
because I'm not good enough for you.

I'm not smart, nor good looking,
I don't have a lot to give.
You make me cry, every time you say
it's me for whom you live.
I can't express myself to you
exactally how much you mean.
Every time that I am with you
I've been transported to a dream.
I'm not very suave or romantic
nor do I look that great.
I am perplex and can't understand why
you want me to be your mate.

I don't give many gift, or candies
nor love letters, to you whom I care for.
Every time that I see you
I'd wish that I'd done more.
You're in my room, my thoughts
my dreams, and my every desire.
You are my focus, my future
my purpose, and my fire.
I can't see why you love me
because of the emotions I have pent.
But somehow when you look into my eyes
you know exactally what I ment.
We've been through so much
boyfriend, lover, and friend.
I'll give you the only gift I have
I will love you until the end.
