Daydreams

by Charles E Minshall

Daydreams are wonderful.
You can go anyplace
Or do anything,
Do the worst possible
kind of a task
While in life's pleasures
You fully bask.
Ooh, ow! oh! ouch!
Now that's real dumb,
I just clobbered my poor thumb.

A wonderfully funny way of saying, "Concentrate on the task at hand, especially when using a hammer." Daydreams have there place but not when working especially at a risky task. Great fun!

LOL! I guess the message here is don't daydream too heavily while hammering a nail or better, operating a motor vehicle.
