another night wasting

by Andrew S Adams

look like another night wasting microwave dinners
and the light of the frdge always on for company.
the buzz of the television tells him that sometimes
airbrush models make for cheaper dates.
lacking his own visions he adopts hallucinations
as being manifestations of what he thinks
he could one day make true.
this is just another night, another trip.
and his friends are all there with him
stored away in the back of his mind
awaiting the precise moment to stand
on pins and needles and attack.

relentless, he thinks about it.
and in this night,
he comes to realizing he's completely
alone.

Quite to the point. Why pidgeon hole your stuff? I enjoyed it very much. Very vivid and good flow.
