A day of celebration
Of vows taken for life;
The day Sue and Jeff
Became husband and wife.

Joined together by God
In His blessing from above;
Beginning their lives
Bound together by love.

By their faith and their love
On a day in September,
They were joined for a lifetime
As their hearts they surrendered.

In the picture of their future
They left room enough
For a son and a daughter
In their portrait of love.

They've been steadfast and true,
Still making time for each other;
Never taking for granted
Roles of father and mother.

Through twenty-five years
With family and friends,
They've shared laughter and tears,
As their love never ends.

While building their lives
On their hopes and their dreams,
They've never lost sight
Of what love really means.

In accepting each other
As life brings it changes;
Their bond growing stronger
Through all of life's phases.

Their lives are unfolded
On picture filled pages;
A life shared together
In all different stages.

And as the years pass
This is our prayer;
That their portrait of love
Reflects the lifetime they share.
