Few and Far Between by John HarderA thousand thoughts run through my head
Jostled brain, I'm feeling dead
A hundred doubts of days to come
I can't feel, my heart is numb
I mourn and pant and long and yearn
Looking for somewhere to turn
Confusion, it now runs wild
then I hear "be still my child" 02/11/2003 Posted on 02/11/2003 Copyright © 2025 John Harder

| Posted by Melissa Arel on 02/11/03 at 08:52 PM Believe it or not, that scripture is also a song by Steven Curtis Chapman which I have been listening to alot lately.. and even the title 'Few And Far Between' was something that I wrote down last week.. great minds think alike, eh? :) |

The last line speaks to the Christian, at least. Reminds me of John 14:1, the words of Jesus, "Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid..." |
