Rains and Reigns by Adrian CalhounWorking in the outdoors,
the noon sun burns hot.
It's rays rain down on me.
A storm is slowly moving in,
in the distance, thunder rumbling.
The afternoon sun is swallowed into darkness,
and it begins to rain down on me.
Troubles and worries of everyday life,
weighing on me like stone.
I feel the love and blessings of the Son,
and the stone melts away,
as he reigns over me. 02/06/2003 Posted on 02/11/2003 Copyright © 2024 Adrian Calhoun
