Words Without Meaning by Cathlyn CartierI am unimportant, insignificant,
faceless and without form or substance,
my name muddied and character assassinated
to fulfill anothers need to feel powerful and in control.
Love has lost all depth and meaning,
like water through a sieve it is gone.
You are the icon of broken promises,
the origin of broken lives,
the epitome of all that is wrong in the world today.

Posted by Rusty C Arquette on 01/17/03 at 05:56 PM Not quite the angry tone of II, but damn close! - There has to be some theraputic value in this as well...now take some slow, deep, cleansing breaths and let the moment pass. - RCat |
