and rarer still

is the truth.

and of rareity i speak

for you have found a most spectacular gift.

the truth.

the pain caused by truth

is never discused

only left in the dark

that is humanity.

they never talk of pain

only winning

only succeding.

never truth.

the truth is wanted never told,

never told for pain follows.

such a simple thing.

as the truth.

is hard to hard to explain

hard to accept.

simply too hard



then why even try

if it is so clear as day

that we wish for the lie

so we have something for which to strive?

if the truth is we make things destroy us

so that we may have something to do

then, is picking up our own broken pieces

the only thing that's true?



yes, the pieces we place back together.

bit by bit

and heart by heart.

we repair the lost parts.
