Rain

by Charles E Minshall

Through the window I watch
As raindrops drip toe by.
From an easy chair
I don't mind at all.
Inside it's dry
Let the raindrops fall.

'drip toe' i like it :) you conjure up well that certain cosiness which can come with the rain when one is indoors

Great play on words pal. Time to stoke the fire I'd say. Peace...

Like that "drip toe by"--especially picturesque. Rain when it's needed is such a thrill Rain when it's not is like taking an oversized pill
