Under A Canadian Moon

by Charles J Hannan

We were beautiful music together
Loving, laughing
Crying when we saw it end
But what a time
Such a wonderful time we had
Holding you at night
Waking up to you
The warmth in shivering cold
My heart never beat so true
The Old Stone Inn...we owned for a night
And the Festival of Lights
Pictures capture memories
Of the best time in my life
Window shopping
Conversations over dinner
Looking into your lovely hazel eyes
Gezellig fireplace
Entangled with you
A dream coming true

Author's Note: This is about the trip I took to NY with Anne...simply wonderful!!
