From Some Blue Star

by Ken Harnisch

So once again, we have fallen into that pit

Of terse messages

Sent through indifferent channels

And dot-com ISPs.

It is a phase we go through

Every now and then

And one I fear each tine

May mark our end.

But then, from some blue star

The streaking meteor will light our mutual skies

She will tell me that she misses me

And her words will match the ones

I have inscribed forever

In the silent chambers

Of a hopeful heart

I think it is sometimes hard in todays society to keep that feeling, and it is a wonderful thing, when that blue star streaks through a sky shared. You have the gift for expressing so beautifly what others are at a loss for words to.

Once again I am browsing through your library.. and stopped for a moment here.... finding more than one that echoed.
