From Some Blue Star by Ken HarnischSo once again, we have fallen into that pit
Of terse messages
Sent through indifferent channels
And dot-com ISPs.
It is a phase we go through
Every now and then
And one I fear each tine
May mark our end.
But then, from some blue star
The streaking meteor will light our mutual skies
She will tell me that she misses me
And her words will match the ones
I have inscribed forever
In the silent chambers
Of a hopeful heart 12/22/2002 Posted on 12/22/2002 Copyright © 2025 Ken Harnisch

Posted by Kate Demeree on 12/22/02 at 08:04 PM I think it is sometimes hard in todays society to keep that feeling, and it is a wonderful thing, when that blue star streaks through a sky shared. You have the gift for expressing so beautifly what others are at a loss for words to. |
