with a gun in his hand
ready to blow shit off
just to get some relief
i got shit bottled in me too
but i deal through these
these words i got
they're all i'm not
they say things i say
so i dont do them some day
and this is my weapon
you got your gun in your hand
i'll assault you with a pen
and then we'll see who's more of a man
maybe you could fight me
try to out recite me
maybe enlighten me
maybe learn to like me
so put the gun down
pointing at others or yourself
stand up and look around
and see people who will help
and look within you
to see the power you hold
cause somewhere, it's true
you have a story to be told
now just tell it
so all the world can hear
alot more music
than a gunshot to their ears
just let it all out
and do not stop
you can scream and shout
but just dont silently plot
the end of the world
for anyone, anything
you know your words
are stronger than any gunshot ring
that's just how it goes.
