In Theaters Now

by Howard F Farewell

My words
Tumble and cascade in my brain and tounge
Never making themselves fully known to the world
Never able to tell you what I want to say
How I mean it
How to say it
Perfect ways playing themselves in the cineplex of my mind
Angry, fuck-you's
Theater 3 down to the left
Sappy romance
Theater 8 follow the hall on the right
Oscar winning perfomances in every showing
The no rehersals one take shot that resonate inside of you
Making it worth the 9 dollar ticket
But they can never be brought to the cutting room floor
The executives can't make up their mind
They've cut the funding

Painful but great use of movie metaphor throughout Howard.

Great work. Sometimes the words get lost, inside somewhere, between heart and head.
