Healing Waters

by Melissa Arel

As I sit here and stare into the open

I see an ocean in the sky

With its ripples and waves of softness

Engraving itself in the heavens

As I look up, I see these healing waters

Turn to grey

As a drop of holy dew falls upon my lashes

And quenches my thirsty heart

He beckons me and calls for me

In the gentle roar of the tide

And in the breeze of the air

I savor every drip of glory that falls from heaven

And these healing waters complete my soul

And fill me to overflowing

Halleluja, Melissa, break out the buckets! Catch that precious spirit-filled rain and all the glory that comes with a precious spirit-filled verse like this. Peace...
