Moments

by Oliver Drewman

Moments come
When all the world
Harsh, truth benumbs
Eyes see the burled
It is not right
It does not fit
Still the night
Comes unlit
Then moments arise
When angels hold their breath
For the dawning of surprise
Man seeing the breadth,
The length grace does appease
Drops in awe upon his knees

There is a confidence in this that makes me want to read where it is heading. Simple lines carefully placed build to a humble, eureka ending. Congrats on POTD!
