Paris?

by Ginette T Belle

Confusion stems from unexperience
Does one bold it out
Or fade into friendship
Ride the deep blue dangerous waves
Or splash lightly in smooth stone rivers
A life of passion
Or a life of regret

So safe, so warm
Don't rock the boat
Don't want to be pulled under
And drown myself to sleep
Don't want to lie sunbaked
On white sand left for dead

Oh, I should just move to Paris.

I like how this touches on the human condition in a way we all can relate to. Zany surprise ending!
