Sticky Business by Anne EngelenHot she enters his domain
Only to satisfy his hunger
Unselfish
Total deliverance to his game
All she knows
she 'll be eaten all the same
But before the final bite
That will leave her in total darkness
He prepares her delight
So she will taste just right
Dripping thick sticky drops
On her hot surface
Slowly one by one
Carefully looking where they hit
Each on their own perfect spot
Not wanting to pour too much at once
Fingersmearing out the sweet sticky mass
Tracing her round curves
Gracefully to her edges
Totally absorbed
She's ready for him
To take her
now
The most tasteful
syrupy pancake of them all

Posted by Rusty C Arquette on 11/26/02 at 01:31 PM You have hit on two of my passions...when combined they make for a hedonistic feast of the senses...if I can't have them in the flesh, I'll take your vivid imagery as a wonderful soulful snack! - Delicious! - I just love those quirky twists at the end of a juicy poem! - Yum! - RCat |

Posted by Karl Waldbauer on 09/26/03 at 08:36 AM Anne, I've never seen pancakes as sensual and sexy, but you have made my breakfast a many faceted treat! Thanks for such a delightful poem. |
