Invitation To Communication

Theres a lot you can tell
From watching them
act a certain way
Their actions wont hide
what they really have to say
Bodylanguage is pretty clear
Its not deceiving
Like the words I sometimes hear
Im tired of being a decoder
for each of your words
Please be loud and clear
Be straight forward
Mean what you say
We might be able to understand
each other that way
Communication isnt that bad
But you need to open your mouth
and heart to accomplish that
So....this being said
Tell me what do you think of that?

I see myself as honest and kind, but my frown and the downward arching creases astride my lips reveal another-just-as-true me. Thought-provoking poem and a needed invitation. |
