Halloween Limericks

by Lori I Wolfe

Halloween Limericks

~~*~~

It only comes around once a year

When ghouls and goblins will appear

They come out at night

To give you a fright

Sending you running in fear

~~*~~

All Hallows Eve is the night of the dead

They slip from the earth coming out of bed

Going in search for your soul

So don’t loose your control

Or you’ll wind up missing your head

~~*~~

Trick or Treat the children all cry

As they hold up their bags to the sky

Cookies and candies is what they want

Going door to door on there treasure hunt

Then back home again they will fly

~~*~~

The old castle stood upon the hill

Giving the children a creepy chill

Don’t go through the gate

Inside the evil will desecrate

Leaving you feeling quite ill

~~*~~

Happy Halloween

*grin* We needed a little light-heartedness around here. Thanks!

Fun read Lori for kids of all ages, though some may need the help of their parents to understand a few of the words. The second's my favorite. Happy Halloween to you too! :oD

The rhythm is a little awkward on some... but overall very well done... My favorite is three.
