Wanderings

by Oliver Drewman

Change is so certain
So what is it I fear
The certainty of it
Terror it will appear
Or
Being left behind
Alone

-----------------------------

The mountains
Are so plain
The plains
So elevated
Bleow the space
Where they are found
And there commiserated

-----------------------------

If I were
A star
A universal
Light
Flickering unsure
Afar
A transversal
Sight

------------------------------

Just the type of dispatch
Looked for with anticipation
With abandon's mismatch
This fearful trepidation
Finally the truth revealed
Emotions sore repreived
This faithful package still is sealed
Then laughingly recieved

------------------------------

Why am i such a fool
Towards all the love you give
What holds my heart so captive
That i forget to live

"Why am i sucha fool/Towards all the love you give /What holds my heart so captive/That i forget to live" Each poem holds its own here Oliver, but this one is my favorite.. You have a unique approach to the issues of the heart and mind.. :)
