Posted by Glenn Currier on 10/19/02 at 06:50 PM jadi, this is so clever, made me go to the glossary... now you've challenged me to try this form... Your poem gaved me a good laugh, but on a more serious note, it reminds me of dreams I've had, born of my old tattered guilted baggage, fear-textured and rebelbound. Sometimes it's hidden deep and sometimes just under the surface - but always there.
Good one, my friend. |

Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 03/09/08 at 04:57 PM Definitely an "aha" moment here... you would never expect that last line. The first two lines predict some tragic occurrence... but no, it's the comedy swat team at work. Has a mock-nightmare feel to it as well, I have had real dreams quite similar to this, and I wake up laughing. |
