Mexico Night Clubs #2 by Jessica A SteenbockTidal waves of verse tumble
Irrational emotion
In my ears
Barely hearing,
We are inside-out people
Thoughts written on our bodies
Pouring sweat
Reckless kisses
Mexico night clubs inside out
Queerly enticing harmonics flood the air
LA woman ghost dances to a techno rhythm
Yelling screaming
Reciting anothers poetry
Heart wrenching lyrics cried
Lungs wailing
Every word
Every phrase
Meant
Mexico night clubs
Everything we are written across our bodies
Speaking our truths
Everything revealed
Bodies twist
Entangled, entwined
Vines wrapping around the other
Heaving bewitched melodies
Inhaling smoke of all kinds
Smoke filled lights
Dulled lasers shoot through the wave
Televisions on
Odd scenes
Bodies sway over me
Unfamiliar
