i cant even begin to say
how much distrust i have in me
its more than i can convey
but you cant see-
you never do what you say
just do whatever you can
to make it all delay
and say it's coming soon.
i do not care what you are giving me
i do not need it anyway-
but i can not go on seeing what i see
and hearing what i hear every day
please, dont say something
that seems just a little
too good to be true-
it always is, if the words come from you.
do you expect me to buy
the things you cant afford
will be walking right up to me
and knocking on my door?
the only one you're still fooling
with your hope
with your promises
is yourself.
