why i think like this
why i do what i do
to try and make you feel like a goddess
you say "you deserve better
so much better than me"
but i dont see it that way
i guess you just dont see what i see-
i see a woman who can love
i see a woman who knows what she wants
and i see someone one cut above
all the world's tricks and slants
you never let me buy you things
but i have one great desire:
to buy you a ring
and set your heart on fire
you say i love you because you love me
and yes, while this is true
but there are many more reasons for our love to be
mainly, because i love you for you.
