Charlie Brown by Charles E Minshall ________________________________
We have a little dog We call Charlie Brown, A ball of beige fluff, A canine clown.
He's a joy to behold When he goes through his tricks, As he jumps through a hoop Or chases thrown sticks.
He can dance and turn nicely On his two hind feet, With his tail wagging At a rock and roll beat.
We ask him to sing opera Though he can't carry a tune, But he gives it a try He howls at the moon.
A little mongrel dog Our finest possession, That's Charlie brown A loving obsession. ____________________________
Charlie Brown can do more tricks than I can remember, But he remembers he will do them all on command.

I loved it. I'ld like to see his picture with your. Great. He sounds cute. Gets into to trouble too? Great one. I needed that, thanks. That made me smile and laugh too. |
Posted by Glenn Currier on 07/31/10 at 03:49 AM This evening on my way home I saw a neighbor letting his two terrier's out for a romp in the front yard. They were full of joy and he grinned. I thought about the fact that we are "cat people" and wondered how we are different from "dog people." You just gave me a great insight. I loved this, Chaz. Thanks. |
