Our Four Seasons (haiku play)

by Anne Engelen

Autumn has come back
Also colouring my heart
Winter now awaits

Indian Summer
First will warm up both our hearts
Blanketed with leaves

To survive Winter
We need each other's closeness
Let our flames burn high

So Spring's refreshments
Can renew our energy
We are divine

Summer is too hot
We yearn for rainy showers
Creating more steam

I see a distinct change in the mood. Obviously owing to some positive impression. Impression gathered from the change in the mood of Nature. This is vibrating with energies having positive charge. Simply beautiful.

You have taken these haiku full circle and combined them with a loving heart. A wonderful addition to your list of Poems Of The Day. Congratulations, Anne. Peace...

Gees, can't believe how brilliant evocative each one is of the cycles of Mother Earth. You embrace it like a warmblooded animal who is gloriously and sumptuously One with the planet. Beautiful poem, Anne. Congratulations on poem of the day.
