I've made mistakes
you didnt agree with me
but neither did you condemn me

I've been into trouble
you tried to help me
even though I snapped on you

I've been into the deepest pit
you didnt just gave me a hand
you went in with me

I've failed more than a dozen times
but every single time
you were there to help me through

I've cried a river
you cheered me up
and at times, even cried with me

I've pissed you off
but you tried to understand
and forgave me

others have insulted me
but still you defended me
eventhough I wasnt completely right

I may not be the best person there is
but still you stood by my side
and for that, I thank you for being my friend
