you could have been the actor that makes me laugh and cry
or the singer that fills me with wondrous lullabies
you could have been the boxer that knocks me down
or the priest that lifts me up
you could have been the painter that makes my world colorful
or the gardener that makes it beautiful
you could have been anyone after all
but then, you wouldn't have been my angel at all
