they told me to look deep within myself
to the deepest hidden corners
of my personlality
of my most obscure words
inspiration mus be found
is places not before tapped
hidden, fully surrounded
suffocatingly tightly wrapped.

however, after looking in these places
exhausting every word of my vernacular
i run dry of being inspired
by the self that was once spectacular
so, i find inspiration elsewhere.
when i attempt to apply this same concept
of searching in the deepest darkest corners
to the world around me- to what surrounds me
what i find isnt much better.

for when i search these deep dark corners
where walls join, and where corners can be found
all i can ever seem to find
is dirt, and other filth.

what should inspire me now?
