Oranges

by Melissa Arel

Peel my skin off
A layer at a time
Like a tender orange
And its dimpled outer rind
Everytime you eat of its flesh
Its sugary-sweet temptation
I hope you happen to think of me
As it teases you with sensations
And when the juice
Drips down your chin
And dries its stickiness
To your skin
I hope you taste my kisses sweet
Rendering this
Refreshment complete
