Teach me to live.

Can you
teach me to open myself
and be vulnerable
without the fears of this world
piled ontop of my shoulders;
Without all the pressures
compacted into my mind

Will you
teach me to be who I am
and less of everyone else

I'm scared.

Can you
teach me to free myself
and discover
the hidden pearl
buried so deep
under these layers
of sod and rock
limestone and sea

Will you teach me
how to love..
because
I've forgotten.
