Madness' Method; [The Stigmata] by Rachelle Howe
only once i exposed
my skeletons for the benefit
of another
did i wake.
only after i peeled
back illusion's veil
did i stumble across
revelation.
only when i became blind
could i see the
method behind the madness...
only after the scales fell
could i understand the need
for the humiliating wounds...
He wears the scars
so we dont have to.

Posted by Glenn Currier on 06/29/11 at 01:27 PM I really appreciate the spiritual journey described here and do sooooo relate to it. My illusions and delusions are what keep me from joy and peace and the fulfillment in the eternal abyss. Thanks for this lovely poem. |
