refuse refuse by Glenn Currieron the road today the sky was gray noticed the ground and the litter all around symbolic I thought of the things we've bought and soon thrown away - good only for a day or a minute or hour quickly going sour because they don't fit so we hastily omit them from the scene so they won't be seen.
the felonious offender whom the courts render refuge for their error or our version of terror the crippled or the old too difficult to behold or to find a way to help them stay among the young, the beautiful and the dutiful those with skin too dark or some other mark or trait making them differ and our necks stiffer.
how naturally we refuse to BE with our refuse.
