This is great Dante! Especially for those of us who grew up with DOS. Incredibly creative- a cyberpunk concrete poem. Form and function are integrated perfectly, something rarely seen in concrete poems, and rarer still to see one done this well. I'm so impressed that I'm voting you in for "poem of the day" on this one immediately. I tip my hat to your inspiration, skill, and creativity, and thank you for sharing this work of art. -malachi

Very creative poem. Definitly one of the more original uses of form I have ever read on the site.

OMG, to me (and this may only be a reflection of MY intelligence) this is BRILLIANT!!! I LOVE it!!! The metaphor is so endearingly, originally and executed. I am in awe!!!

Dante - this is outstanding, wonderfully creative, and totally cool. I loved it.

yes, this would deem you a "cyberpoet." now this is what poetry is all about; turning something so mundane into the freshest thing I have ever read. you are beyond brilliant.

i'm so glad to see this POTD. i've admired this poem for a long time, and never found the right words to say why. it DOES recall a collge class i took when i was in the 10th grade for extra credit...BASIC! love and 0's and 1's. brilliant. PK

So, I remember reading this last year. I voted for it back then and you can see that I left a commment last year as well. Somehow I had never added it to my favorites. Some words get lost in translation and after a while, they lose that special quality; this will never happen to your poem.
