We waited, wondered, wanted
not needing to know the meaning
living life and losing it
yet dance we did undaunted.

careless as the fools we were
the future, we feared not
but being and becoming fast
trying to run, we rot.

looking back on our past future
destruction of our own device
thinking now that what we thought
would never have been right.
