Little leaves of
Autumn yellow,
whisked by
gusty wind.

Frolicking,
twirling,
fluttering contained like
butterflies clustered,


Golden faces flashing,
twinkling as
stars in a
midnight sun.

Floating, floating until again
on the ground they lay.
A beautiful moment
on nature's canvas, making
beautiful the day.
