stars shoot across the sky
wishing that they might stop
just to sit and sigh
before it drops
into the atmosphere
and is wished upon by another...
but when the earth comes so near
there comes a sense of wonder
knowing you've been wished upon
and granted now in time
as you smack into the ground
and you have lived out your design
knowing that your life
was worth something to someone.
